Dreamy Outdoor Wedding: Jordan & Marie Geiser

The wind blows over the lake and rushes through the trees, all the guests sit still listening intently to hear their  promises spoken. Jordan and Marie have already had many adventures together but a new chapter is about to begin.

You can’t get much cooler than these two. They hiked up Sugar Loaf Mountain with me to take their engagement pictures - what a dream that was! So it was perfect when they chose to have their ceremony at Chickasaw State Park overlooking the lake.

But their wedding was more than just beautiful. It was centered on their faith and their family and friends. It speaks so highly of Jordan and Marie that they chose to make their day not only about themselves but also about their Lord who unites them and the community that has surrounded them as they’ve grown in their relationship.

From the touching ceremony officiated by Marie’s cousin, to the personally written vows, to the incredible cuisine made by their friend, a very talented French chef, to the dinner tables being pushed back to make room for the dance floor - and the incredible dance off that followed, to the myriad of family members and friends who all worked together, bringing their special talents, to create this beautiful day for Jordan and Marie; it was all a wonderful example of community!

I couldn’t help but be amazed by the humanity of all of it. We are truly better when we work together, when we choose to be generous, expecting nothing in return. I am certain that Jordan and Marie will continue in this legacy and will pass on the generosity and the genuine love that was shown to them on their day.

Congratulations again to Jordan & Marie, and may grace & peace be with you every step of the way on this new adventure together!!
