Stephen & Mariah: A Dreamy Wedding at Olive View Events

Wow! I seriously don’t know how I get so lucky to photograph the absolute kindest and best people!

Mariah and Stephen’s wedding was truly a dream! When I met Mariah and got to talk with her about their day I got so excited. An outdoor wedding in the Fall with dark colors is my kind of wedding!

Looking around at the decoration in the reception hall and the ceremony, you could see that everything had been thoughtfully and beautifully placed. You could feel that they didn’t let the pressures of traditions weigh them down but instead created an intentional ceremony and reception that kept the focus on their love, friendships, and community.

At the ceremony, I got to witness more of their intentionality in their relationship. I loved that they chose to ask those attending to commit to helping them in their marriage as well.

The reception was full of laughter and love as friends and family gave toasts and shared funny stories about the bride and groom. This is always one of my favorite parts of a wedding day because I get to hear more about how the couple came to know each other. There’s always a few embarrassing stories in there too - ha!

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to be a part of Stephen and Mariah’s wonderful day!
